On Tuesday, January 26th, Softask Charity Board Member, Colby Johnson, dropped by Laurel Arena during H.A.Y. Foundation lessons to present a $4,000 sponsorship check. This money will go to sponsor many children in 2016. Colby's son, Rowan, graduated from the H.A.Y. Foundation in early December and showed great improvement through his 8 weeks. Softask was founded in 1986 to provide financial assistance that would help improve the lives of children with special needs. For the first 3 years, the organization helped children enrolled in the Cooperative Training Center in Garland, Texas, but in 1989, Softask was incorporated to allow their fundraising efforts to be dispersed to other children's organizations. Each October, Softask hosts a golf tournament to raise money for children's organizations. In 2014 alone, they raised $52,000 at the tournament. The H.A.Y. Foundation and all of its staff are thrilled to have received this donation to help the children at H.A.Y. We thank Softask and Colby Johnson very much for their extreme generosity to us and other children's organizations. They are truly making dreams come true!
