The H.A.Y. Foundation (Horses Assisting Youth) is participating in Give Ozarks, a 24-hour online day of giving on May 9, 2017. The H.A.Y. Foundation will raise online donations from midnight to midnight on May 9 to help cover the cost of an 8 week Horsemanship Lesson Program for children between the ages of 5 and 17 who suffer from emotional challenges. These challenges can include anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, trust and attachment issues, death, physical or sexual abuse, neglect, homelessness etc.
Making a secure donation is simple. On May 9, donors can log onto https://www.giveozarks.org/2017/hay-foundation to complete a basic credit-card donation. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the IRS. Your donation helps cover the cost for staff, insurance and a belt buckle for children in the 8 week Horsemanship Lesson Program. Your donation DOES NOT pay for the use of horses, indoor riding facility, outdoor arena, horse care (horse shoes, feed, vet etc.), arena grooming, electricity, propane, supplies and administrative services since H.A.Y. is provided these at no cost.
On May 9th, the H.A.Y. Foundation will be broadcasting live on www.facebook/hayfoundation throughout the day. We will be at Century Elementary in Nixa from 9am to 2pm conducting Horsemanship Clinics for over 400 students. Children who have participated in the Horsemanship Lesson Program will be teaching their peers about horses and safety. We will also broadcast from Laurel Arena between 4:45 to 7:30 to show students participating in the Horsemanship Lesson Program.
The H.A.Y. Foundation Program builds confidence and self-esteem, behavioral control, respect, responsibility, language and communication skills, and provides the opportunity to create a trusting bond with the horse, instructor, and peer role models. Check us out on May 9th and make a donation! YOU can help H.A.Y. raise money for our local youth dealing with social or emotional challenges by doing any of the following things:
